Day 1 |
| The tour starts
after arriving to Yangon with a morning flight. The evening will be
spent sight seeing downtown Yangon including a visit to Shwedagon
pagoda. Overnight will be in a hotel in Yangon. |

| Day 2 |
| We will catch
the earliest flight to Bagan arriving at about 0800 hrs and from here
we will cross the Irrawaddy River to begin our journey to the Chin
Hills. We will be traveling in a 4WD vehicle, most of the time on
dust roads with many river crossings. In the evening we will arrive
to a Chin town called Mindat situated at 4860 ft. Overnight will be
in a bungalow with basic but comfortable accommodations. The surroundings
of Mindat are semi-cultivated lands with some areas of pine forest.
Weather is cool and pleasant all year round. |

| Day 3 |
After breakfast
we will start trekking firstly descending back to 2500 ft. After crossing
Che River we will gradually walk up till we reach Aye Sakan, a camp
situated at about 5700 ft. Since this is a convenient place to camp
with water available throughout the year, we will overnight here.
We will be walking through pine forest firstly but before and after
crossing Che river, through deciduous forest with large areas of cultivation.
After reaching 4000 ft elevation we will be again walking in pine
forest with areas of cultivated land, secondary scrub and grass.

| Day 4 |
|
|
| Most of the time we will be
walking up till we reach a camp site at about 9000 ft where spring
water is available. Throughout the way in lower elevations we will
be walking in secondary vegetation with patches of semi cultivated
areas and pine forest. The forest above 7000 ft is a pristine broadleaf
evergreen forest with patches of small bamboo. Weather up here is
very cold and will need warm clothing and sleeping bags. We will be
sleeping in tents. |

| Day 5 |
|
|
Today we will climb
up the summit in the morning. We will then walk down to a camp situated
at about 8000 ft taking a different route. Overnight will be in a
Chin village called Hla-laung-pan. Forest type above 9000 ft is mostly
oaks and rhododendrons and some grassland.

| Day 6 |
| From the village
we will again walk down to another Chin town called Kanpetlet situated
at 4560 ft where our cars will be waiting. We will enjoy the evening
with a locally brewed KHAUNG YAY, a wine made from millets. Overnight
in a bungalow with basic facilities. |

| Day 7 |
| We will drive back
from Kanpetlet to Seikphyu, a town with a ferry crossing. The other
side of Irrawaddy River is Chauk only 18 miles away from Bagan, Overnight
in Bagan. |

| Day 8 |
| We will fly back
to Yangon in the morning. Before taking the evening departure flight
from Yangon there is some time left to visit downtown to buy souvenirs
and visit interesting places. |
